MUGA STOLE MOTIF

Silk stole woven with naturally dyed Eri silk in both horizontal borders. Motifs are done with naturally dyed Eri silk. Muga and Eri silk blended this stole looks very gorgeous.

The origin of muga silk is from Assam, it is generally believed that it was during the time of Ahom dynasty that muga silk is woven in the state. Muga silk is the rarest silk on the world. Muga silk has Golden natural color.

Handloom defects – Handloom Products may have slightly different shading in a single piece due to different thickness of hand reeled yarns and weavers beating techniques. There may be uneven salvage or missing threads due to the nature of hand weaving.
