Muga ghisa is a material which is extracted from the waste of muga. This is totally a handloom product. It is made of pure threads from nature and creation by hands. It is completely natural and rare. Muga ghisa is slightly rougher than muga silk. The color of muga ghisa is golden hue.

 A ghisa shawl is a handwoven textile traditionally crafted in Assam, India, using ghisa silk. These shawls are often used for everyday wear and known for their durability and comfort.

Handloom effects – All handwoven pieces are unique in a way can be termed as ‘one & only’ as it differs from weaver to weaver. Again, one weavers’ state of mind at the time of weaving leads the beating that shapes the texture of the fabric.

Handloom defects – Handloom Products may have slightly different shading in a single piece due to different thickness of hand reeled yarns and weavers beating techniques. There may be uneven salvage or missing threads due to the nature of hand weaving.
